Healthy Valentines Day Appetizer Recipes

I think appetizers are a romantic way to eat. One of my favorite food memories with my husband when we were first got married was sitting down in front of our favorite tv show and sharing appetizers.

To this day, I love small bites more than main courses, so my husband and I often order an assortment of appetizers instead of ordering dinner when we eat out. You get more variety, and it’s fun. Here are a few of my favorite finger foods and shared plates.

You might ask what constitutes a Valentines Day Dinner. It’s all a matter of opinion, but I think the key is to make something that lets your Valentine know that you took the extra time to make them something special, something a little bit out of the ordinary. We are visual creatures, so dishes that are colorful and catch the eye are great choices.
