This elegant Crab Avocado Tomato Basil Appetizer with Wasabi Soy Dressing is fresh, light and healthy. Sponsored by Peapod.
I developed this Crab Avocado Tomato Basil Appetizer with Wasabi Soy Dressing Appetizer for Peapod.com, inspired by an appetizer at the Outback Steakhouse. This light and healthy appetizer is super versatile – it’s elegant enough to serve for a dinner party, or it can be dressed down for a Game Day party when served with tortilla chips.
I love it when I have an easy recipe up my sleeve that has that “Wow” factor that makes everyone think I’ve slaved in the kitchen for hours preparing something special for them. This appetizer is one of those recipes. Not only is it easier to make than it looks ~ it’s full of fresh, good-for-you ingredients.
All the ingredients for this “fancy” appetizer can be ordered online on Peapod.com or on your phone using the Peapod app I shared in my Grilled Mediterranean Shrimp and Zucchini Noodles in a Packet post. If you’re a sale shopper like me, check out the “Specials” and you might just find avocados on sale this week.
Make this Crab Avocado Tomato Basil Appetizer with Wasabi Soy Dressing next time you’re hosting a fancy sit-down dinner, or serve it with chips for Game Day ~ I guarantee your family and friends will be impressed.
