This Berry Yogurt Granola Parfait is so easy to make, and features fresh summer berries at their peak sweetness. I look forward to fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries each summer. They are naturally sweet because they are available at their peak ripeness.
I’ve been making Greek yogurt for my son, who eats yogurt with granola and fruit each morning. Although Greek yogurt is readily available in the supermarket these days, I still like to make my own from organic grass-fed milk when possible.
My favorite fruits to eat with yogurt are fresh berries, especially fresh-picked strawberries (from our local farms).
I like crunchy (versus chewy) granola, and one of my favorites is made by a local family (Four Plus Granola).
Layer some berries, yogurt, granola, and then keep going until you reach the top of your glass. For an elegant presentation, use wine glasses as I did, or for a more rustic look, mason jars work great.
Happy Fourth of July, Independence Day!  I am celebrating by making this healthy Berry Yogurt Granola Parfait and looking forward to our local fireworks celebration tonight with friends and family. Blessings everyone!
