Celebrate the Fourth of July with this fun Blueberry Pomegranate Lemonade. Fruity juicey ice cubes keep this lemonade cold on a hot summer day.
It’s hard to believe that July 4th is already here! Where did June go? We’ll be going to our local town fireworks as has been our family tradition for as long as I can remember. The town always does a fantastic job, the fireworks seem to get better and better every year, and it’s always great to see friends that we haven’t seen in a while.
I made this fun Blueberry Pomegranate Lemonade to celebrate the Fourth of July – this is simply a glass of lemonade with giant ice cubes made with blueberry juice, pomegranate juice and lemonade. I found blueberry and pomegranate juice at Trader Joe’s and organic lemonade at Costco’s.
When ready to serve, simply plop one or more of these juice cubes in a glass and fill it up with lemonade. The advantage of using these juice cubes is that your lemonade will stay cold without getting diluted and will get a little juicy flavor from the blueberry and pomegranate juice ice cubes. I kind of like the little swirl you see in the glass – it reminds me of the fireworks display when the shooting stars fall from the sky.

Thanks Terra – the big ice cubes are fun and keep drinks cold longer.
