Learn lots of tips on how to bake with coconut flour, including lots of coconut flour recipes.
This Wednesday, March 27th at 12 Noon Eastern Standard Time, I’m hosting a Google Plus Hangout with Bob’s Red Mill’s test kitchen resident expert and chef, Sarah House. Sarah will help demystify how to bake with coconut flour. I don’t know if you’ve tried baking with coconut flour before, but it can be a little tricky. Coconut flour doesn’t work quite the same as most gluten-free flours. It’s a great gluten-free, grain-free flour, so to help you all get your feet wet, I’ve invited Bob’s Red Mill to help teach us the fundamentals of baking with coconut flour.
We’ll have a panel of talented food bloggers attending too – Lexie from Lexie’s Kitchen, Kelly from The Spunky Coconut, Carolyn from All Day I Dream About Food, Cara from Cara’s Cravings and Jane The Heritage Cook.
Meanwhile, here are some of Bob’s Red Mill’s Favorite Coconut Flour Recipes (including one that I developed for them ;)):
Coconut Country Biscuits
Cheese Crisps
Coconut Curry Muffins
Chocolate Marble Cupcakes (my recipe)
Rosemary Goat Cheese Scones
Vanilla Coconut Pound Cake
You can view even more recipes using coconut flour here. For the Coconut Pancake recipe I made (pictured above), you can find it here (I just added some dark chocolate chips for fun).
