Quick and Easy Chinese Stir-Fry Green Beans

Cooking time may vary depending on how fat your green beans are. If you use regular green beans, cooking time will be longer.

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound haricot verts thin green beans, trimmed
  • 1/2 teaspoon organic sugar
  • 2 teaspoons low sodium gluten-free soy sauce or 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup water


  1. Heat oil in wok over medium heat. Add beans and stir-fry 2-3 minutes. Add sugar, soy sauce and water; toss well; cover and cook for about 4-5 minutes or until beans are just tender but still a little crisp.

Recipe Notes

This method of stir-frying can be used with just about any vegetables.
