Dominican Salad Dressing

  • 1/2 onion chopped
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • sea salt to taste

Dominican Salad

  • 2 heads romaine lettuce hearts chopped
  • 1/4 head cabbage thinly sliced
  • 1 English cucumber sliced
  • 2 tomatoes chopped
  • 2 avocados chopped
  • 2 cobs corn steamed or boiled for 5 minutes
  • cooked beets optional


Dominican Salad Dressing

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together chopped onion, vinegar, olive oil and salt to taste. Let sit for 1 1/2 hours for flavor to develop. Meanwhile, assemble salad.

Dominican Salad

  1. Place all salad ingredients in a large bowl. Toss with dressing to taste just before serving.
