Asian Beer Marinated Flank Steak

Marinating overnight is key to a more flavorful steak.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle beer
  • 3 scallions chopped
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce gluten-free if needed
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 slices ginger minced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 1/2 pounds flank steak

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients except flank steak in a resealable gallon-size plastic bag. Put flank steak inside bag and seal bag. Massage bag to mix ingredients well. Refrigerate overnight.

    Grill until cooked to your desired doneness. Let rest 5 minutes. Slice thinly against the grain.
