Strawberry Whipped Cream Santas are easy to make and so cute for Christmas. These are sure to please children and adults. Serve on a pretty platter for dessert or even Christmas morning.
I don’t make sweet treats very often, but this holiday season, I’ve been experimenting with sweet treats for our Holiday Open House. Yesterday, I made these cute little Strawberry Whipped Cream Santas after spotting something similar similar at a local supermarket. All you need are strawberries, whipped cream and some mini chocolate chips. They’re naturally gluten-free too.
I did add some King Arthur Whip Cream Stabilizer to the whipped cream which is supposed to keep the whipped cream from getting watery, but these little Strawberry Whipped Cream Santas were gobbled up so quickly, I didn’t get to see how the whipped cream held up. The consistency of the whipped cream was definitely stiffer than regular whipped cream, so I think these would hold up for a day or two.
These little sweet bites are perfect for the holidays when you’re looking for something easy and fun. I also played around with adding strawberry puree to the stabilized whipped cream – it definitely holds up well. I have a batch of gluten-free mini cupcakes that I’ll be serving at our Holiday Open House on Christmas Eve, and I think I will try topping some of them with this Strawberry Whipped Cream. These sweet treats are an indulgence, but bite size portions help keep things in check.
Wishing you all a wonderful Holiday Season!

Soooo cute!! Happy Holidays!
These are so adorable! I can understand why they didn’t last too long on the tray. Great photos too!
These are so adorable! Not to mention, it’s so refreshing to see a healthier festive holiday treat 🙂
these are SO cute!
These are so cute! I’ve never heard of that whipped cream stabilizer before–I’m going to have to look for that!
Kiersten, I’ve never used whipped cream stabilizer before, but it stiffens the whipped cream so liquid doesn’t come out of the cream for a longer period of time. It worked well for these little Santas because I wanted them to last until the next day.
Hi Jeanette–I just shared these sweet Santas over at All Gluten-Free Desserts! I know everyone is going to love them! 🙂
Thanks, dear. Hope you are having a wonderful holiday season!

Did anyone have any trouble with the strawberries “weeping” or leaking? I need to make these in advance but i’m worried they will look terrible after the sugar gets to the cut strawberries.
Sarah – you need to use the stabilizer if you make these in advance.
