This Healthy Super Bowl Menu is a crowd pleaser – treat your friends and family to lighter versions of their favorite Game Day foods!
Are you hosting a Super Bowl party? Super Bowl Sunday is notorious for being a day of feasting and overeating, so treat your friends and family to lighter versions of their favorite party foods.
I’ve put together this Healthy Super Bowl Menu, which includes dips, chili, burrito bowls, sliders, brownies and cookies that will make a beautiful spread for your Super Bowl party.
Here are a few tips from Super Bowl parties I’ve thrown:
- I like to put out lots of dips before the game starts so people have something to munch on for the first part of the game. Include a variety of colorful vegetable dippers in addition to tortilla chips.
- I make the dinner recipe at least one day before the party and reheat it in a slow cooker several hours before the party starts. This keeps everything warm until we serve dinner at halftime, and frees me up to make the appetizers on the day of the party.
- Serving chili or burrito bowls is a fun, interactive meal during halftime because guests can customize their own bowls with their favorite toppings.
- A colorful, festive salad is always welcome, and a few sweet treats is all you need to end the party.
Are you making any healthier versions of your favorite Game Day foods for Super Bowl? I’d love to hear!
